Cyril Irvine, BSc(Hons) Ost. Med. D.O. N.D

Cyril Irvine

Cyril graduated from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine, London in 2005. Prior to that, he was a Cardio-thoracic Intensive Care Nurse working in a busy London teaching hospital. It's there where he first became familiar with Osteopathy, as a patient. Successful treatment fostered an interest which eventually culminated in enrolment on the Osteopathic Medicine degree course.

After graduating Cyril worked across several osteopathic clinics in Greater Manchester and Cheshire. In 2007 he became the resident Osteopath at ITV Granada in Manchester up until 2014 when the company relocated to MediaCity. Currently he divides his time between his clinical commitments as an Osteopath and his UK wide role as a Manual Handling / Ergonomic Consultant. He continues to provide training and consultancy nationally for ITV and ITN, involved with everything from onset productions (including Coronation Street and Emmerdale) to News production.

Cyril regards himself principally as a structural Osteopath treating a broad range of conditions. Having completed a number of additional clinical courses he feels these have provided his patients with a more three dimensional approach to treatment and rehabilitation.
